Cardio Vascular Conditioning Classes
This is great for weight loss and burning calories! Cardio is excellent for your heart, lungs and circulatory system. It is also a great way to release your endorphin’s to help you deal with stress, anxiety, depression and promote brain growth. With cardio vascular conditioning you can choose to do a long duration or short burst of speed intervals.
Resistance and Strength Classes
Great to improve muscle strength to protect your joints from injury, these classes help you to maintain flexibility and balance. It also helps with weight management and increased muscle-to-fat ratio – as you gain muscle, your body burns more kilo joules when at rest – and as you grow stronger, you won’t get tired as easily. Resistance and strength classes are a great form of prevention or control of chronic conditions such as diabetes, heart disease, arthritis, back pain, depression and obesity.
Core Stability and Glute Toning Classes
Core strength is very important for individuals at any fitness level. Having a strong core helps with your posture, prevention in lower back pain, prevention in developing other injuries, assists with better breathing, improve your sports performance and the all-important helps with a slimmer waistline!
The glutes are the largest and strongest muscle group in the body. Strengthening your glutes can help improve posture and make sitting down, standing, picking up heavy objects and climbing stairs easier. Training your glutes will also assist in injury prevention and athletic performance.
Flexibility and Stretch Classes
